Registration
The Token function is designed to simplify the registration process on the PoolUp service. You no longer need to remember your password. The controller will remember your device, and the subsequent login will be done automatically.
One Token is for one device. Under one account (account), no more than three (two) devices can be used / registered on the service at the same time.
Yes, we do not limit the number of user accounts.
However, we want to warn you:
- for other accounts, you can not use the previously specified e-mail, that is, a new e-mail is required for each new account;
- to use one device for several accounts, you will need Logout from one account and repeated Sign-in to another account (using a different e-mail).
Check all your mailbox folders (spam, promotions, etc.).
Contact customer support (or send an email to [email protected]).
You are entitled to close your Account at any time, by contacting us through Customer Services ([email protected]).
In addition, if your account has not been active (at least logged into your account) within 12 months, we will send you a letter stating that after 30 days the account will be deleted (including game history). After deletion, the account cannot be restored.
Performance Rate, Virtual Money, ROI
The Performance Rate is a measure of your gaming performance. You can also compare your Rate with the Rate of other players on the PoolUp Service.
To maintain the maximum objectivity of the indicator, only unique rates for each individual event are taken into account when calculating the Performance Rate. All identical predictions (regardless of how many coupons with this event were played) will be ignored.
Performance Rate Formula:
Net The amount of points accumulated at unique predictions1 / Net number of unique predictions1
1A unique prediction means one prediction per event.Each individual combo prediction counts as one option. The more options for predicting on one event you make, the lower your Performance Rate will be.
Example 1:
Event LIV – MUN, the player placed prediction in three different prediction slips accordingly «1:0»(7.0 points), «1:1»(6.0 points), combo-prediction «2:0 or 0:0» (3.5 points, backup «LIV o rDraw» 1,4 points);
The event ended in Win LIV «1:0»;
the controller will count Net the sum of the points scored for the first and third predictions (7.0 + 1.4) and three unique predictions, thus the Performance Rate will be 8.4 / 3 = 2.8.
Example 2:
Event LIV – MUN, the player placed prediction in ten different prediction slips same combo-prediction«0:1» (10.0 points);
The event ended in Win MUN «0:1»;
the controller will count the Net amount of points (10.0) and one unique prediction, thus the Performance Rate will be 10.0 / 1 = 10.
Example 3:
Event LIV – MUN, the player placed prediction in five different prediction slips same combo-prediction «2:0 or 0:0» (3.5 points, backup «LIV or Draw» 1,4 points), and in three different prediction slips placed prediction «1:0» (7.0 points);
The event ended in DRAW «1:1»;
the controller will count the Net amount of points (1.4) and two unique predictions, thus the Performance Rate will be 1.4 / 2 = 0.7
The Performance Rate calculation is applicable only on the PoolUp service, and it should not be projected (compared) when predicting with classic bookmakers or exchanges.
The main difference is that for classical bookmakers the Score and Results markets are separate markets with a full set of 100% probability for each, and on the PoolUp service these markets are mathematically combined into one set of 100% probability. That is, with one click you place two predictions (main and backup), this is impossible with classic bookmakers and exchanges, since these markets are interconnected.
In addition, the classic bookmakers take into account the margin (bookmaker's profit) in the coefficients of 2-5% in the Results market and 7-15% in the Scores market.
The main reason is for the possibility of calculating ROI, that is, a financial indicator of the effectiveness of your game on the PoolUp service.
No, virtual money is only for playing on the PoolUp service.
A game in which real money is not used for predictions and winnings is not considered a gambling and therefore does not require a special license.
The service charges a commission of 2% of the won amount (net profit).
The commission is withdrawn in order to reduce inflation within the game and for the purpose of testing for a possible transition to real money in the future.
After testing, we will offer more fair commission options for players, for example, with net profit for the period (week, month), if there is a loss for the period, the commission will be refunded.
ROI (Return on Investment) is an indicator of the financial performance of your game on the PoolUp service for all time. You can also compare your ROI with the ROI of other players on the PoolUp Service.
ROI = ((gross income1 / gross costs) - 1) * 100%
1gross income = gross costs + prizeWhen calculating the current ROI, only completed pools are taken into account.
To find out ROI for a certain period of time or for different formats / price lines, use the "My analytics" page.
Example of calculating ROI:
The Player's gross income for a certain number of games was 110 coins, and the Player's gross costs for these games was 100 coins,
ROI = ((110/100) -1) * 100% = +10% (i.e. investment income 10%)
A negative ROI (for example ROI -10%) means that for a certain number of games the Player has suffered a loss. It is desirable for the player to use a different strategy of the game (for example, to play in other formats).
Predicting
Main pick "Score" is a prediction on the correct Score of the match, the probability of guessing the score is small (usually no more than 20%, on average
By placing a prediction Mainpick "Score" you automatically place a prediction on the identical Backup pick "Results".
That is, the choice.
You can choose two Scores at once with a single prediction, in this case, if the event ends with any of the Scores you have chosen, you will be credited with the same number of points, regardless of which Scores happens. When calculating scores, the probabilities of the selected Scores will be summed up and the number of possible points will be proportionally reduced. The number of possible points for the reserve prediction will also decrease.
The more likely you are to “take” at the MainPick, the less scores you will get for both the main and reserve predictions.
In addition, if the necessary conditions allow, you can make a Combo Prediction for two different Results (similar to the bookmakers "double chance" 1X, 12, X2).
Example 1:
EventLIV – MUN, probability «1:0» - 15% (6.7 points), probability «2:1» - 10% (10.0 points),
probability «WIN LIV» 40% (2.5 points)
The player place a Combo Prediction «1:0 or 2:1»
Points for Main Scores «1:0 or 2:1» – 100%/(15%+10%) = 4.0 (baseline 6.7 or 10.0 respectively)
Points for Backup «Win LIV» – (100%-15%-10%)/(40%) = 1.88(baseline 2,13 or 2,25 respectively)
Example 2:
EventLIV – MUN, probability «1:0» - 15% (6.7 points), probability «0:0» - 12% (8.3points),
probability «WIN LIV» 40% (2.5 points), probability «DRAW» 30% (3.33 points),
The player place a Combo Prediction «1:0 or 0:0»
Points for Main Scores «1:0 or 1:1» – 100%/(15%+12%) = 3.70 (baseline 6.7 or 5.9 respectively)
Points for Backup «Win LIV or DRAW» – (100%-15%-12%)/(40%+30%) = 1.04 (baseline 2.13 or 2.93 respectively)
The main condition for Combo Prediction is the availability of at least three options. This condition must be met when choosing options for both Main pick and Backup pick.
Example 1:
In women's tennis, there are only two Main pick options - Scores "2: 0" and "2:1", and only two Backup pick options - Results "Win1" and "Win2".
Therefore, Combo Prediction is not possible.
Note: The play-off feature will soon be available for system and private pools.
In Pool with a play-off rule, a competition is held in several rounds. Each round consists of several events.
After the completion of each round (after the completion of the last event of the round), 50% of the lines (approximately) with the lowest number of points are eliminated from the pool (from Players with dropped lines, predictions on the events of the next rounds are not accepted). To determine the number of lines remaining in the game, the rule of rounding up to whole values is applied. Before the start of each next round, all previously accumulated points are reset to zero (a separate competition is held in each round).
For system pools, the number of rounds and the filling of rounds with events is performed by the system administrator. For private pools, the number of rounds and the filling of rounds with events is performed by the player - the pool manager (at the stage of creating a private pool).
The maximum number of rounds in a pool is 3 (including the final round).
The number of points scored in the Final Round determines the final pool standings and the distribution of the prize pool.
The minimum number of competing lines in each round is 2 (regardless of the number of lines in the previous round, at least two lines with the most points will get into the next round).
The minimum number of events in each round is 2.
In case of equal points for the lines that are located in the standings on the threshold of 50% (the threshold of leaving the pool), all lines with the same number of scores in the given range of places of the standings remain in the game (go to the next round).
The set and number of events for each round is formed at the stage of creating the Pool (changing the set of events is impossible).
The minimum time between the end of the last event of the previous round and the beginning of the first event of the next round is 24 hours (all players must have a comfortable period of time to prediction on the events of the next round).
Note: The play-off feature will soon be available for system and private pools.
You need to go to the "Create private Pool" tab. Then select the “play-off” rule. Next, select events, and for each event, specify a round. Any events are available for you to choose: Upcoming Events (Points available) and Distant Events (Points / Odds not available yet).
The main condition for the formation of rounds:
The minimum time between the end of the last event of the previous round and the beginning of the first event of the next round is 24 hours (all players must have a comfortable period of time to prediction on the events of the next round).
The Performance Rate counts only those points that are scored in the round / rounds in which the Player took part.
Yes, it is possible. The formula used on the service for calculating scores allows the total values less than one.
Example 1:
Event "Favorit" vs "Outsider", probability of win "Favorit" 90% (1.11 points),
your prediction Main pick Scores "2: 0", probability 15% (6.7 points).
Event ended. "Favorit" wins with a score of "3:0".
You will be credited at the fall back rate:
(100% -15%) / 90% = 0.94 points
Alternate selection option will soon be added for the Backup pick – either Results or Total Over / Under (range Over / Under, Correct Total).
The scoring formula will remain the same because the base line is the same.
For Example: if the Main pick Scores "2:1", the automatic Backup pick "Over 3.5" will be accepted
By the reserve prediction you will be satisfied with all variants of Scores, where more than three goals will be scored: “3: 0”, “3: 1”, “1: 2”, “1: 3”, “0: 3”, “Other Win 1 "," Other Win 2 "). The fallback points will be formed from the sum of the probabilities of these Scores, minus the probability of the selected Score "2: 1".
Email us which sport / championship you would like to use on the PoolUp service ([email protected]).
The following sports / championships will be added soon:
- Tennis (Masters tournaments, Grand Slam tournaments)
- Basketball (NBA)
If the lines that have collected the same number of points take prizes, then the part of the prize fund awarded to these prizes will be equally divided into the lines that have scored the same number of points.
The amount of the prediction will be returned to the players' current balance without deducting the commission, 0% will be counted in ROI (no loss, no profit).
For bookmakers, the Scores and Results markets for one event are separate and related markets, each with its own full set of options with a probability sum of 100% (more precisely, 100% + bookmaker's margin).
Bookmakers cannot accept a single prediction on linked markets, as such predictions would be unprofitable for the bookmaker (there is no effective formula).
Our game is based on a different principle, so we can apply a different mathematical formula and accept predictions on related markets.
Playing on the PoolUp service, from one prediction on an event, you get several positive expectations at once with varying degrees of usefulness: guess correctly Score (cool); missed Score, but guessed Result (good); did not guess Score / Result, then we hope that the opponents' predictions did not happen (no bad). And all this at one rate. When placing predictions with a bookmaker, you get only one expectation - whether your forecast will happen or not, all the other results will not suit you. To get multiple expectations, you have to place multiple predictions.
Pools
A ticket in the “JackPot'” format means that a single pool of all accepted coupons of players with the same line cost will be formed. The JackPot prize fund is formed from the total value of all coupons participating in the game. Any Player can take part in the game by submitting any number of coupons to the system or by filling in a coupon that includes several different lines (the limit for one coupon is five lines). Each individual line of the Player plays independently (points scored in different lines are not summed up).
The distribution of the prize fund is made according to a special formula, which has fixed and dynamic components.
The general logic of the formula is as follows:
- 100% of the prize pool will be distributed among 9% (approximately) of the lines with the most points (winners);
- the main condition: the last prize place must receive a positive ROI (cost of the prediction + small profit), this condition determines the exact number of prize places;
- according to the fixed part, 30% of the prize fund is distributed to the first 10 prize places (according to the number of points scored) (1st place 10.0%, 2nd place 6.67%, 3rd place 3.33% ... , 10th place 0.36%);
- on the dynamic part, there maining 70% of the prize fund is distributed in descending order (starting from the 1st place, each next prize place will receive more than the previous one);
- the exact number of prizes and the distribution of the prize fund are available to all Players after the start of the pool (Inside pool – Pool info - Winner).
Example:
A total of 1000 lines are registered in the JackPot pool,
The cost of the line is $ 1, i.e. the total prize fund is $ 1000.
According to the diminishing dynamic distribution formula, the last prize with a positive ROI is 93rd. Consequently, 100% of the prize pool will be distributed among 93 prize places.

The pooling algorithm is configured in such a way that all player coupons remain in the game (the player spent time and knowledge when filling out the coupon, so we consider the coupon return a bad option).
The algorithm also compares the predictions of the players on the events in order to avoid the same predictions in the same pool (we consider such a game not interesting for the players).
Another criterion of the algorithm is the parity of the number of registered coupons in a certain format (ie, in the X2 format, the number of coupons should be a multiple of 2, in the X3 format, a multiple of 3, etc.).
Based on the above criteria, the algorithm distributes a certain number of non-multiple coupons to a certain number of ready-made pools. In such pools, the additional prediction will be added to the total prize fund and, according to the results of the game, it will be distributed either to an additional prize place (for X2, X3, X4, X5) or to the existing prize places (for X6). At the same time, the prize fund of the first place will always be equal to the one declared in the chosen format and will always be more than in the additional prize places.
This is only for the purpose of keeping your coupon in-game and keeping the competitive principle in the pool.
Example 1:
format "X2", 51 coupons were accepted, i.e. the algorithm can generate only 25 pools (according to the format, two coupons are in one pool), and one coupon is not multiple, therefore this one non-multiple coupon will be added to the one of the 25 pools (in random way). The prize fund of such a pool will be equal to the sum of three predictions.
The distribution of prize place in such pool is: the first place (basic) will get 2/3, the second place (additional) will get 1/3, and the third place will get a loss.
Example 2:
format "X6", 55 coupons were accepted, i.e. the algorithm can generate only 5 pools (according to the format, ten coupons are in one pool), and five coupons are not multiple, these five non-multiple coupons will be added to five pools. The prize fund of such pool will be equal to the sum of eleven predictions.
The distribution of prize place in such pool is: the first place will get 6/11, the second place will get 4/11, and the third place will get 1/11. An additional prize is added to the second place because the total values of the second place is less than the first place.
No, it is not taken into account. When forming pools, the algorithm matches only predictions on some events and uses an element of randomness. Predicting the score / result is equally difficult for everyone, everyone makes their own predicting line and competes with another / other predicting lines, the fact that today someone has a higher rating does not mean that they will definitely win this particular game.
Private
Other players' predictions on all pool events will be opened immediately after the start of the first pool event. Other players also do not see your predictions until the start of the pool.
Yes, they are possible, since the system algorithm for the formation of pools is not involved (all coupons of players who came via a hyperlink are accepted without exception).
If several lines score the same number of points in the pool standings, then the stake will be returned to the players' current balance without deducting the commission, 0% will be counted in ROI (no loss, no profit).
This is the Player who created this Private pool.
The pool manager selects events for the pool, sends a private hyperlink to other players, and has the ability to change the hyperlink (in this case, the previous one is deactivated).
In the future, the Pool manager will be able to add / remove events in already started pools (with the obligatory consent of all pool players), edit the rules for distributing the prize pool at the stage of creating a Private pool.
Chat
If someone in the pool uses chat for spam, insults, threats, etc. you can turn off the display of messages for this user with the "Ignore" button / function. The messages (past, present and future) of this user will not be displayed in the chat window, as well as all your messages will not be displayed in the chat window of this user after using the «Ignore» function.
In the pool standings, you need to click on the Login of the blocked Player. Then in opened menu click "Ignore" button / function. After that all your new messages and Player’s all new messages will be mutually displayed in the Pool chat window.
The Pool Chat will be available for 48 hours after the end of the last event in the pool. After that, all messages are deleted without the possibility of recovery. The pool will be moved from the My active pool / My event calendar panels and the results will be added to the Player's history (my analytics).
